pred začiatkom výročného mítingu v Davose
Svet akútne potrebuje KEBS II.
Vysokoctený pán prof. Schwab,
dodnes pripomínam všetkým, ktorí mi vyčítajú, že sa tak jednoznačne staviam so svojími spolupracovníkmi za Vaše hodnotenie vývoja Sveta a tiež za to, že súhlasíme z 3/4 s navrhovanými riešeniami, že ste vlastne jediný, kto vidí do blízkej aj vzdialenejšej budúcnosti. Dostupné informácie naznačujú, že tohtoročný výročný míting WEFu bude svojím významom výnimočný, pokiaľ jeho prominentní účastníci budú využívať zdravý rozum. A čo je podstatné, aby vnímali silu dialógu a nezastupiteľnosť "veľkej diplomacie", ktorá je už dlhšie akoby bezživota.
Sme hlboko znepokojení drsným súbojom o vedúcu pozíciu vo svetovom vývoji, kriesením nacizmu a prenosom jeho elementov do praktickej politiky, bezprecedentným reštartom pretekov v zbrojení a predstavami o možnosti jadrovej vojny na obmedzenom priestore, no i v celosvetovom meradle.
Vaše vyjadrenie z telemostu (3. 3. 2021) pri príležitosti našej najhlbšej pocty vyjadrenej udelením "Mierovej ceny zo Slovenska 2015", že sme dlhoročnými priateľmi, je nielen povzbudzujúce, ale aj záväzkom. Preto som rozhodol, že najbližšie zhromaždenie nášho združenia a jeho Medzinárodného mierového výboru 30. marca bude paralelne o hlavných témach nadchádzajúceho davoského fóra. Chcem veriť, že Váš Davos sa stane určujúcim v zápase o návrat do lepších čias, o zmrtvychvstanie tých, čo vštepili osobnostiam pokroku do ich genetickjej výbavy myšlienky helsinskej Konferencie o európskej bezpečnosti a spolupráci spred polstoročia. Súčasný Svet potrebuje "Helsinky II." a Vy osobne ste jednou z mála osobností, ktorá ich dokáže vyprovokovať a nastoliť novú životodárnu silu.
Mám na pamäti viaceré vizionárske akty, ktoré odzneli v kongresovom centre a medzi nimi aj akoby zabudnutého a svojími prejavom na fóre jedinečného Jacquesa Santera. Vďaka Vám, Jacquesovi Santerovi i viacerým prejavom iných osobností či už v Davose, no i v Salzburgu som stále miernym optimistom. Azda sa mi to darí prenášať aj do života nášho tridsaťročného združenia, ktoré som založil a dodnes "dirigujem"
Želám Vám dobré dni a úspech výročného mítingu, ktorý by sa mal stať majákom pre všetkých ľudí dobrej vôle.

The World is in Acute Need for Helsinki CSCE II
Dear prof. Schwab,
Some blame me and my colleagues for standing so clearly for your assessment of the development of the World and also for agreeing with 75 % of your solutions, and I keep reminding them that you are actually the only one who can see into the near and distant future.
Available information suggest that this year's annual WEF meeting will be of exceptional importance - as long as common sense is used by its prominent participants. It will be also of utmost importance that they perceive the power of dialogue and the irreplaceability of "great diplomacy"which has been lifeless for a long time.
We are deeply concerned about the harsh competition for the leading position in the world, the reviving of Nazism and the transfer of its elements into practical politics, the unprecedented restart of the arms race, and ideas about the possibility of nuclear war in a limited area but also on a global scale.
During a tele-bridge on the occasion of our deepest honour expressed to you by the awarding of the "2015 Peace Prize from Slovakia", your stated that we are long-time friends. It is not only an encouragement but also a commitment. Therefore, I have decided that the next meeting of our association and its International Peace Committee on March 30, 2023 will make a parallel to the upcoming Davos Forum when it comes to its main topics. I want to believe that your Davos Forum will become a crucial moment in the struggle for a return to better times, for the resurrection of those who encoded the ideas of the Helsinki Conference on European Security and Cooperation half a century ago into the genetic code of personalities of progress. The contemporary world needs "Helsinki II" and you personally are one of the few who can provoke them and create a new life-giving force.
I bear in mind several visionary acts that were presented in the congress centre - including the almost forgotten and unique Jacques Santer with his speech at the forum. I am still a mild optimist thanks to you, Jacques Santer and several other speeches from Davos and Salzburg as well. I hope I am successful in transferring it to the life of our thirty-year-old association which I founded and still "conduct".
I wish you all the best and a successful annual meeting which I hope will become a beacon for all people of goodwill.
