Letter to President-Elect of the United States Donald J. Trump from the representatives of the association of Informal Economic Forum - Economic Club and its International Peace Committee

Bratislava, November 13, 2016

Mr. President-Elect of the United States,

These days, you belong among the most celebrated and also the most contested personalities of the world. We extend our sincere congratulations on your election as the 45th President of the United States of America. This happened because you crushed the opposition against you with the force of your ideas and plans of restoring the USA to a country it once was and should be again.

In its twenty-fifth year, our association, "Informal Economic Forum - Economic Club," has 222 members, who are renowned personalities from all spheres of human activity. One-quarter of our members are VIPs from abroad and are also members of our International Peace Committee. We welcome your victory and hope that it heralds better times to prevail for the entire world.

We have a firm and growing belief that it is you who has a unique opportunity to ensure durable global peace and promote all-sided cooperation among the nations and their states. You have the ability to clearly discern the deceitfulness of the leaders of a number of countries who profess democracy only when development follows their wishes and plans.

As a U.S. President together with other country leaders, you have the ability to galvanize people around the world. By doing so, you can make the United States to be the first among the first again, including through garnering considerable support of friends and sympathizers for the people of your country also outside of its territory. Thanks to you, the world has gained a hopeful and vital momentum.

We take the liberty of quoting the statement which we addressed on the day of your election to Mr. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, offering the possibility of a “telebridge” between him and the citizens of a small country in the heart of Europe:

“The presidents of the world powers cannot be merely the heads of their own states, for they should have a natural authority as personalities who reflect about the present and

the future of all people. Together, they should form a great and irreplaceable trio guaranteeing the fulfillment of the natural desire of rational and emotionally mature people for a life in dignity and peace.

Ever from our inception - and with an increased intensity from 2001 - we have endeavored to appeal to the superpowers and their representatives to embrace this vision of their role and, in a certain manner, the responsibility for the development of civilization. This has been the aim of our association over its 25-year existence and that of its International Peace Committee, which has called upon the U.S. and the Russian presidents to initiate the organization of a global peace and security conference.

We will continue in our effort to create a 'red hotline' and to establish the most human connection among the U.S., Chinese and Russian presidents.”

We belong to a generation that has already been exposed to the looming of a nuclear confrontation caused by incompetence and irresponsibility of certain leaders. We are, however, confident that during your term in office, these gamblers will no longer have a chance to take any steps towards total destruction of our civilization and of the Earth as such.

We would consider it an honor if you fulfilled our wish, our most human plea, and launched a process leading towards a new global security and a better life for most people on our planet. The United States of America and its presidents have more than often provided a compelling example of their ability to tackle economic and social issues and relationships abroad.

Please accept our warm good wishes and the expression of our desire that you serve not only as the U.S. President, but also as the leader close to the human majority of our world.

With expression of our deep respect,

Dr. Peter Kasalovsky
Representative of the association Informal Economic Forum - Economic Club since 1993, and co-initiator and spokesman for the International Peace Committee (2015)

Ján Gabriel and Rudolf Young Mosny (USA)
